One of Fort Worth’s most legendary drinking establishments, the White Elephant Saloon is owned by celebrity Fort Worth chef & TV personality, Tim Love.
With our central location on Exchange Ave, the White Elephant Saloon is the perfect place to relax with an adult beverage & enjoy the historic Fort Worth Stockyards.
Located in Fort Worth’s dangerous Hells Half Acre since the 1890’s, the White Elephant after years of dormancy moved to the Historic Stockyards in the 1970’s and has been one of Fort Worth’s premiere tourist attractions ever since.
Known in Wild West lore as host to Fort Worth’s last gunfight featuring Fort Worth Sheriff Longhair Jim Courtright against White Elephant owner Luke Short, the White Elephant Saloon is to this day still haunted by the memory & presence of Longhair Jim, one of Fort Worth’s most corrupt lawmen.
Grab a bowl of fresh Texas Red Chili and a piece of homemade cornbread any day of the week for $6 at the Chili Parlor inside White Elephant Saloon, just past the bar!
