Step into the past as you enter our doors, where the spirit of the Old West lives on. Originally established by Luke Short, a legendary gambler and gunfighter, the White Elephant Saloon has seen it all—outlaws, lawmen, cattle barons, and everyday cowboys.

The Hats

Not only is the White Elephant a Fort Worth staple for drinking, dancing and making memories–the cowboy hats that line the walls and ceilings represent a celebration of the many icons who have graced its doors. The hats belong to beloved trailblazers, rodeo cowboys, famous music acts and many more. Every little piece of history contributes to the saloon’s irreplicable presence today.

Grab a bowl of fresh Texas Red Chili and a piece of homemade cornbread any day of the week for $6 at the Chili Parlor inside White  Elephant Saloon, just past the bar!
